Jason Dyck
Physical Therapist
Hey there, I’m Jason! My goal as your Physical Therapist is to get you back doing what you love to do as soon as possible. I completed all my training at the University of Alberta, where I completed a PhD (Neuroscience), MSc in Physical Therapy, and a BSc in Human Physiology. I have been working in private practice in the Edmonton area for 10+ years and have taken advanced training in the following:
Functional Dry Needling
Functional Range Conditioning (FRC)
Active Life Rx Immersion Certification
Spinal manipulation (SWODAEM Institute)
Selective Functional Movement Assessments (SFMA)
Running Biomechanics and Prevention of Running Injuries
Whether you want to compete in an ultra-marathon or get back to playing with your grandkids, I will do whatever I can to get you there. My treatment style is primarily using corrective exercises to address the underlying musculature imbalances that are causing pain/ injury. In addition, I use a combination dry needling and manual therapy (joint manipulation and soft tissue work) as needed to improve mobility or decrease pain. Ultimately my goal is to allow you to continue to be active by providing you the tools to recovery quickly and avoid further injury.
